“The Acarix CADScor® System can often eliminate the need for further invasive and stressful examinations.”
Acarix CADScor® System
From Nature to Medical Technology
It has long been known that turbulent flows generate sound – whether in flowing streams, water pipes, or the circulatory system. Blood flow disturbances caused by partial obstructions (stenoses) in the coronary arteries create very faint sounds, commonly referred to as “coronary murmurs,” typically occurring at frequencies below 1000 Hz.
Detecting these sounds is challenging due to their very low amplitude. Accurately capturing and recording coronary murmurs requires not only an advanced acoustic sensor but also precise placement on the skin above the heart to optimize the recorded signal and minimize external interference.
The Acarix CADScor® System has been designed to provide a simple yet highly precise method for ruling out coronary heart disease using acoustic sensors. This quick, non-invasive procedure delivers immediate results in less than 10 minutes.
